Best Twin Stroller For Newborns

If you're expecting twins, or have two children that are close in age, a double stroller is a must. The top double strollers offer numerous ways to ride your children, including side by side seating and an attachment for a board.

The Bugaboo Donkey 5 Mono is Lauren Ro's favorite stroller. It can be adapted to your family's needs effortlessly. It can be used with two infant car seats as well as the toddler seat. This makes it an ideal option for twins.

Bugaboo Donkey

This is the top double stroller for families looking for a stylish and attractive side-by-side double stroller. It is a little more bulkier than other Bugaboo models however, it is sturdy and built to last. It has a handlebar that can be adjusted to retract and extend easily. It also has a long reach, so it is easy for my 6'1 husband to push, even when fully loaded.

Seats are spacious, and can be positioned so that one child sits behind another or so that children face each one. They can also recline in a different way from each other. The canopies are big, covering both seat fabrics if desired. But they don't have enough ventilation, which makes them appear like a small oven on hot days. There's no peek-a-boo window to see your kids.

One of the most unique features of this stroller is its capacity to adapt to your family's needs from the single seat (Mono mode) all the way to a double side-by-side stroller. This is the only double stroller convertible that can do this! It can also be used in conjunction with a second bassinet or car seat for infants.

It is easy to maneuver on smooth surfaces, and is able to handle steps and slopes well. It can be a challenge to maneuver in crowded eateries and shops. It is also a little difficult to fold, particularly when seats are attached. It's still quite small, however, and is able to fit through most doors easily.

In mono mode, there's a storage bin next to the front seats. This is great for grocery shopping and other items. The main storage basket beneath the seats is huge and can accommodate up to 100 pounds that is more than any other stroller on this list!

Uppababy Vista V2

This is one of the most popular twin strollers for newly borns. It can be used straight out of the box as a double stroller and is compatible with many bassies and infant car seats.  double stroller for twins  can even accommodate two bassinets or infant car seats simultaneously if you purchase the Vista Upper and Lower adapters.

In comparison to the original Vista, the V2 has made a few improvements to make it better. The toddler seat is half an inch taller, the footrest has more space and the canopy comes with an extender for the fabric that zips out, which gives extra coverage. The harness is also modernized in that it does not require re-threading. This makes it easier to adjust.

The stroller is equipped with big wheels (8" in front and 11.5" in back) and a sturdy suspension system that allows it to take on any terrain. The wheels made of rubber on the front are ideal to navigate through rocks and gravel, while the tread on the rear wheels is more suitable for grassy hills or sidewalks.

A child's bicycle can also be attached to the front of a stroller. This is a great option for parents who don't want to use a car seat. If you have a child who is old enough to stand up, the Vista stroller can fit an additional child using its piggyback board accessory.

Vista is Vista is easy to use and set up, however it can take some time to unpack all of the protective packaging. The instructions are simple to follow and there's also an YouTube video for assistance if you require more information.

Thule Urban Glide 3

The Thule Urban Glide 3 is the most recent version of the popular all-terrain stroller and it's made to appeal to modern families who are a fan of style, sustainability, and adventure. It's got exciting new features such as a built-in foot rest and an updated reclined seat, which offers the best comfort for children on long walks and jogs. Its sleek, agile design also improves its mobility.

It is extremely light, making it easy to drive and speedy to accelerate on the road. Its suspension can handle abrupt changes in the surface (like grass to pavement) effortlessly, and the oversized wheels provide plenty of traction on even the roughest of terrain. It is able to easily climb over kerbs and turn tight spaces such as city streets. Even small sidewalks and crowded parks are not a problem.

While the new Urban Glide 3 offers superior performance, it also retains the classic Thule features that make it a top jogger for parents. It has a large canopy that offers great sun protection, a convenient peekaboo window a top-quality harness system and an integrated handbrake with an extremely tuned lever. It has plenty of storage space, including pockets in the seat as well as a huge cargo bag that can hold up to 15 lbs.

This Thule Jogger comes with a bassinet to accommodate strolling infants, and a double version that can hold two children. It comes with car seat adapters, so you can use the infant carrier of your child. It also comes with an one-handed folding system to help you transport it or store. It also comes in a green option, using dyed solution-dyed fabrics in black color options to minimize water consumption.

Cortina Together

Cortina Together is designed for families that are growing and provides parents with a variety of seating options to accommodate the needs and preferences of every child. The two seats in the double stroller have canopies that are reclining and backrests that are independent. They're also designed to accept one of Chicco's top-rated KeyFit or KeyFit 30 infant car seats in the front seat and rear seat (car seat sold separately) using the exclusive click-in attachment without the need for add-on straps or bars, which other models that require.

A large, zip-up basket in the rear offers ample storage space for your equipment. The handle is cushioned to fit dad or mom. The wheels and suspension of the tandem double stroller ensure a smooth ride on all terrains. The one-touch linked rear breaks when you tap it, making stopping easy.

In our Strollers & Multiples lab tests, Cortina Together scored well for its ease of use. This metric is based on how easy it is to fold and set up the stroller. It also considers the ease with which it is for you to open and close the snack tray and engage and disengage the brakes, raise the stroller when folded and then carry it as if it were the trunk of a car.

We did find some drawbacks to this model, though. First, it's heavy. It weighs 36.6 pounds fully loaded and puts it closer to the extreme end of our measurement. It also has limited visibility when a car seat is placed in the rear. Additionally, the front tray release can be difficult to operate, especially when used for a long time. Despite these issues, we still believe this is a fantastic double stroller that will be able to keep your family together for a long time.

Jeep Double Stroller

The Jeep Destination Ultralight Side x Side Double Stroller is an affordable, lightweight stroller ideal for families with two children. Its front swivel lock wheels rotate for smooth maneuverability on flat surfaces, and lock to provide stability on bumpy surfaces. It comes with a compact folding umbrella that can be closed in seconds. It is also able to stand upright, making transporting it simpler. Its aluminum frame is lightweight, and its carrying strap and handle made of foam makes it one of the easiest double strollers to lift in our tests.

This stroller has reclined seats that can be independently adjusted and foot rests to provide the best comfort for both children. Its large canopy offers UPF 50 protection and also comes with a peekaboo view for easy monitoring. We would prefer to see the canopy vented for more airflow. We also weren't thrilled that the cup holder is quite high on the frame, meaning you'll need to bend down to reach it.

In our tipping test the Jeep fell over at a 39-degree angle, which is above average for a double stroller. It's a little heavier however, it has more storage for the price. The handles and seats are also well-padded.

This stroller can be used in three modes: wagon (just for things) as well as the jogger (with two 5-point safety harnesses for kids) and car seat mode. It can be used with one car seat for infants but pediatricians recommend waiting until your child is six months old before running with them, and one year old before letting them run on rough terrain. It is available in black and comes with a lifetime warranty. Jenni Gritters has been a journalist in the field of parenting and outdoor for more than a decade.
